Design and functions
The TD 200 is simply connected to the PPI
interface of the S7-200 via the supplied
connection cable. A separate power supply
is not necessary. It is also possible to
connect multiple TDs to an S7-200.
If the distance between TD 200 and S7-200
is greater than 2.5 m, an AC adapter for
the power supply is required. Instead of
the connection cable, PROFIBUS bus lines
are then provided.
The configuration data of the TD 200 is
stored in the CPU of the S7-200. The alarm
texts and configuration parameters are created
with the programming software STEP 7-Micro/WIN
V4. Additional parameterization software
is not needed.
