In 2023, VR MASTER assisted our customer in Indonesia in improving power quality at their steel rolling mill plant. The facility utilizes numerous DC and AC converters for variable speed motor control across various applications. Electrical disturbances, such as harmonics generated by these power electronic converters, can lead to equipment failure and operational malfunctions.

To address this, our Active Power Filters (APF) were successfully installed, effectively reducing major harmonic orders and enhancing the power factor of the main power supply.
