In 2021, VR MASTER was awarded a key contract for the supply, installation, and commissioning of type-tested medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) switchboards, including busduct systems, for the Toyobo-Indorama Advanced Fibers (TIAF) project in Rayong, Thailand. TIAF—a joint venture between Toyobo Co., Ltd. of Japan and Indorama Polyester Industries PCL (IPI)—is constructing a new production facility within the IPI site to manufacture specialized yarns for automotive airbags. Commercial operations were scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2022.
